AB de Villiers, as the name suggests is perhaps THE most dynamic batsman in the modern era and is known for twisting the grammar of batting. If he is capable of doing the insane of the insane, let us get your imagination powers on the line. Have we ever wondered if the masterpiece, de Villiers was a left handed batsman?

Well, left-handed batsmen are simply a class apart and any shot on the cricket book looks better to a certain degree when it comes from the sweetest spot of a lefty!

Thus, if de Villiers would have been left handed, what a joy it’d be if we could watch him play the cover drives and square cuts, coming off from the sweetest spots of the bat. Also, in addition to that, it would be a joy to watch him play his classy reverse sweeps and 360-degree shots. In short, they would have been overwhelmingly delicious to fill the Cricketing appetite of a fan!

As a matter of fact, it would surely have been ecstatic watching him bat in such order. But we did experience some clicks when he used to turn into the position of a left-hander and would play some of his masterclasses with the bat.

Had AB been a left hander, there would have been a competitor to Yuvraj Singh in determining who among the two plays the cheekiest of the flicks off the wrists, also he would have competed with Sourav Ganguly in showing off side brilliance as DADA. Also, he would have to a good extent matched Lara’s footwork on the crease. And last but not the least, Gayle had to hit his sixes with even more power to sustain his stature as the strongest hitter of the ball!

Having said all these, let us watch a glimpse of AB de Villiers pulling and hitting shots straight down the ground just as what we are used to see. The only difference here being is, AB, batting left-handed. Nothing to be confused here, it is just a roll of the camera in inverse direction.
