Watch: Mohammad Amir deceives Shahid Afridi to clean bowled him: Sylhet Super Stars were facing Chittagong Vikings in the 18th match of the BPL 3. Chittagong bowlers did really well. However, “Boom Boom” Afridi took things in hands and steadied the faltering Sylhet innings. He played really well and it was because of his match saving knock that Sylhet managed to reach a decent total. However, his brilliant innings was brought to an end by a terrific delivery from compatriot Mohammad Amir.

It was the first ball of the 17th over and Afridi looked dangerous. But, Amir neutralised his risk totally by sending him back to the dugout. He bowled a slightly short of length delivery. Afridi stayed on the back foot tried to get his bat inside the line and defend it on the leg side. But, the ball moved across just enough after pitching to beat the bat of Afridi and knocked the top of the off stumps.

Afridi looked completely clueless and was standing in an awkward position at that time. He sighed in disappointment but Amir was elated and his team celebrated with him. The effect of his dismissal was clearly evident as Super Stars could only add 19 runs in the last 18 balls.

Mohammad Amir still has that special thing in his bowling. After making a return into competitive cricket, he has never failed to grab the headlines (for all the right reasons). He has been performing decently so far and he has 9 wickets in the 7 matches in the tournament.
