Watch: Mohd Irfan treats Mutumbami with an unpleasant bouncer: Zimbabwe is currently playing Pakistan in the third and the final ODI of the QMobile Cup at the Harare Sports Club, Harare. After winning the toss, Pakistan chose to field first with an aim to heal the wounds of a controversial loss they suffered in the second ODI and most importantly to seal the series.

Zimbabwe started very positively. The Pakistani bowlers were also challenging the Zimbabwean openers and were not letting them take easy runs. The gigantic Mohd Irfan, to be particular, was not letting the openers breath easily in the middle.

His aggression was noticeable as Zimbabwean opener Richmond Mutumbami got hit nastily on the helmet by his bouncer. In the 15th over, Zimbabwe were doing good as they were sitting at a score of 73 for no loss. Both openers had given a steady start to their team.

Mohd.Irfan, who was desperately trying to get a breakthrough decided to come around the wicket. The tall fast bowler came in running to bowl the last bowl of the over and pitched a nippy bouncer at Mutumbami.

Mutumbami, at the strikers end had no time to react to the skiddy bouncer bowled by Irfan. He was surprised and didn’t even had the time to duck under it as he got hit on his head immediately. The impact of the bouncer was visible as soon as the ball hit his head. Mutumbami lost his balance and fell on the ground. The helmet worn by the him also got dislodged and flew aside.

There were no serious physical effect on the Zimbabwean but the confidence of the batsman, however, must have suffered a jolt after that incident.
