The match had some of the biggest names of the cricketing world like MS Dhoni, Brendon McCullum, Brian Lara, Mahela Jayawardene, Graeme Smith, Virender Sehwag, Darren Gough, Andrew Strauss, Herschelle Gibbs, Damien Martyn and Graeme Swann. This star studded match was bound to garner people’s interest which it eventually did and turned out to be a showdown match.

At the end the Help for Heroes side won the match by 4 wickets on back of a superlative knock by the Indian limited overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This man has developed quite a reputation of taking his side home and his mastery in remaining cool as ice in the pressure situations of the match makes him an undisputed champion for whichever side he plays. And this Indian magician not only wins you matches but he does it in style as well. We all remember the World Cup winning six in 2011 which still gives tingling sensations of joy and elation to every cricket lover in India.

In this match as well MSD finished the match in his trademark blazing style. Scott Styris was the bowler who took the hammering. Dhoni smashed him for four over the long-region and the ball went away like a tracer bullet. His raw power, blistering bat speed was all visible in the shot. Dhoni won the Man-of-the Match award for his exemplary knock of 38 runs which came off just 22 deliveries and included as many as 5 fours and 1 six.
