Rahul Dravid is known for his calmness and is rarely seen celebrating outrageously like most of the cricketers normally do. However, in this video, Dravid shows his rare side.

India was playing Pakistan at Gabba in 2000. It was the second match of the tri-series between India, Australia and Pakistan. Pakistan bowlers bowled outstandingly and restricted India for just 195. Pakistan also fumbled during the chase and were in a bothersome situation while Moin Khan and Mohammed Yousuf were batting in the middle with the team score reading 71/5.

But, Javagal Srinath found another breakthrough. A gentle short pitched was pulled hard by Moin Khan. Rahul Dravid, standing at square leg, dived to his right and grabbed a magnificent one-handed catch. The adrenaline was at all time high for Dravid as he punched the air jumping high in the air. Srinath was also elated at getting the breakthrough.

This catch testified the phrase associated with Rahul Dravid, “You cannot breach the wall.” This fantastic effort got Pakistan in more problems as it appeared that they would not be able to reach the target as half of the batters were back to the dressing room. However, Pakistan’s tailenders fought back well.

Despite being 71/6, Yousuf and Wasim Akram batted well together. The partnership was broken by Sourav Ganguly after he clean bowled Wasim Akram. But, Yousuf continued his good work and a late stubborn display of batting by Saqlain Mushtaq and Waqar Younis saw Pakistan chase the target just off the last ball of the match with two wickets in their hand.
