Watch: Sindhu, Sakshi, Dipa and Gopichand receive BMW cars from Sachin Tendulkar

Rio Olympics silver medal winner for India, PV Sindhu, bronze medal winner Sakshi Malik, gymnast Dipa Karmakar and the badminton coach Pullela Gopichand received BMW cars from the Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar in Hyderabad.
PV Sindhu created history in the recently concluded Rio Olympics, being the first Indian woman to enter the final of an Olympic badminton event and also the first Indian female player to win an individual Olympic silver medal.
Sakshi Malik was the one who brought an end to India’s long wait for a medal at the recently concluded Rio Olympics with a bronze medal in Women’s Freestyle 58kg category. She is also the first Indian female wrestler to clinch an Olympic medal. She played wonderfully well in the match to clinch the medal, as she came back from 0-5 to clinch the match by 8-5 against Aisuluu Tynybekova of Kyrgyzstan.
Indian gymnast Dipa Karmakar made the nation proud as she is the country’s first woman gymnast from India to qualify for the Olympics. Dipa finished fourth in the vault event, as she missed a medal by the slightest of margins.
There has been a lot of outpouring from the Indian media as well as tons of people taking to social media to congratulate the medal winners, Dipa, and the badminton coach Gopichand.
Sachin Tendulkar, who was the Goodwill Ambassador of the Indian team at Rio Olympics 2016 handed over the keys at Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad.
