While there is no news of their comeback, it is imperative that the CSK team has an immense task of overcoming not just the Physical absence but the loss of Morale.

Mumbai Indians, another most powerful team in the IPL has won the title four times, the highest than any other under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. The team beat Chennai Super Kings in the final of IPL 2019 and currently has a psychological upper hand. MI team comprises players like Sherfane Rutherford, Chris Lynn, Quinton de Kock, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, and Nathan Coulter Nile including many younger players.

While this mix is a powerful one packing experience and power both in Batting and Bowling squads, the team must overcome the absence of Lasith Malinga in the tournament. One of the greatly valued assets and a catastrophic force, Lasith Malinga was one of the lead Bowlers of MI in the past few years. The acquisition of Australian Bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile might make up for this loss but to bounce back together as a team against Chennai Super Kings right from the beginning would be a harder task for Mumbai.
