The best Australian and one of the top wicket keepers ever in world cricket Adam Gilchrist took a stunner behind the wicket. Australia were playing South Africa in a test match where the opponents were already pinned down at 76-5. A Michael Kaspowicz delivery to Jacques Rudolph took the out side edge and flew to Shane Warne at first slip.

It was travelling so fast Warne did well to get it in his hands but could not hold on to it. The ball bounced off his hands and the ever alert and anticipatory Gilly threw himself towards it and caught it quite easily in the end.

This is unbelievable as the slips fielder is always a few yards behind and the reaction time is so less to even take your own catch. He followed the ball till the end and when he saw Warne had missed he chance not letting it go completed it. And Australia had their seventh opponent back in the hut.
