The West Indies have completed an impressive treble win. Although it is something the Windies didn’t see coming, the win has sent a ray of hope through the West Indies. The message sent was that West Indies cricket can still be saved and the golden era of Viv Richards, Clive Lloyd, Michael Holding and Andy Roberts can still make a comeback into the international scene.

While the West Indies men and women teams danced into the mystical night of Mumbai, West Indians all over the World were doing the famous ‘champion’ dance. The dance, first seen done by Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo didn’t just become popular. It became an important dance move in the context of the World T20. Everybody seems to be doing it. Whether it’s the fans, the Afghanistan players, David Willey, David Willey or even that random fan in the crowd; the Windies players have got a massive cult going and it is spreading like fire. And at lightning fast pace.

However, when you see someone like a Usain Bolt doing the ‘Champion’ dance, it strikes a different chord. Although it is no secret that Bolt is prone to dancing after each 100-meter dash, there is something special about this one. Usain Bolt was seen doing the ‘Champion’ dance following West Indies’ World T20 win over England in the final. Shirt off, Bolt danced his way in front of his television set and danced his way into the hearts of one and all.

The West Indies picked up a 4-wicket win over England in the final at the Eden Gardens. The win sees them become the first side to clinch the World T20 title for the second time in their history.
