“The Tracer Bullet Challenge” has reached its peak and after the commentary crew and former Indian greats, it was the turn of current Indian Test captain Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and spin ace Ravichandran Ashwin to take up the challenge as the trio delivered the famous phrase of Ravi Shastri in their own unique style.

Kohli was very quick to mention that it was impossible to match the quality of Ravi Shastri in this aspect but he would still give a shot. Arguably the greatest batsman of the modern generation, Kohli was the best among the trio in the delivering the phrase while Hardik and Ashwin were quite sedated in their approach.

Earlier it was former greats Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid who took up the challenge. While Tendulkar was quite a restraint in his approach synonymous to his nature, the normally calm Rahul Dravid was quite animated and was perhaps the best among the three taking up the challenge. Following the footsteps of former Indian greats, Twitteratti also took up the challenge but fared quite poorly.

Ravi Shastri, a member of the commentary panel for the ongoing Test series between India and England challenged his fellow commentators to deliver “like a tracer bullet” as well as he does. While some were good, Shastri wasn’t impressed with most of them.

With the buzz of the “tracer bullet challenge” reaching its peak, India has managed a comprehensive win over England in the 2nd Test at Vizag. England began the day on 87/2 with Ben Duckett and Joe Root starting the proceedings. Duckett’s woeful form continued as he fell prey to Ashwin for the third time in the series, leaving his place in the side in serious jeopardy.

Wickets kept tumbling since then as no English batsman could make a mark and apart from Jonny Bairstow’s lone hand it was a miserable show by England. Jayant Yadav continued his dream debut as the offie finished with figures of 3/30. Mohammed Shami also chipped in with two wickets including the crucial wicket of Joe Root as India won the match comprehensively by 246 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the 5 match series.
