Watch: Virender Sehwag calls Pakistan the most abusive team

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag appeared as a guest on the famous Indian comedy show The Kapil Sharma show. He was there to spread a word about his school, The Sehwag International School in Haryana. While talking on the show Sehwag said that he had to travel a lot to practice while he was young from his hometown to Delhi.

His father had advised him that if one day he becomes a person of high repute and has enough financial resources he should think about opening a school where students can study, stay and play sports. To fulfill his father’s dream he started the SIS and to date, 34 students have represented the state of Haryana in different sports.

The host Kapil Sharma asked him about his relation with Sachin Tendulkar. Kapil said, ‘Sachin has been your idol and you played along with him as well, what was that one thing that you will always remember.’ Sehwag said, ‘when I got my first Man of the match award against Australia for scoring a half century and taking 3 wickets. But I fractured my thumb and was out of the team after that game. Sachin gave me a note with wishes to get well soon and mentioned you have a lot of talent and we shall meet soon.’

He asked him the peculiar characteristics of some of his former teammates.

Rahul Dravid – he is as serious in person as he was while on the field.

VVS Laxman – he is very religious, he prays a lot and makes the best use of his time and he was very punctual.

Sachin Tendulkar – Sachin Paaji is very humble, he will make fun of you and you can also crack jokes on him but we would always maintain a limit while he was around. I was talkative in the dressing room so whenever and wherever he would get hold of a banana he would hand it over to me and when I asked him why do you give me a banana he said you will at least stay quiet while eating the banana.

Which team is the coolest? – Sri Lanka. More than half the players don’t know English wherever they go stay among themselves and are concerned about their own business.

Which team parties the most? – West Indies. No one can party like them.

Which team abuses the most? – Pakistan.

Which team is the dirtiest? – England. It is so cold there they don’t really care to take bath

Which team is the richest? – Indian team.

Which team has their eye on girls? – Australia. There have been a lot of instances of the players being reported and some of them have also been arrested. Sehwag said.
