Watch: VVS Laxman and Harbhajan Singh’s friendly banter

Harbhajan Singh was back in the Indian XI in the last match against the United Arab Emirates and he had the spring in his run-up and bowled really well to return with figures of 4-1-11-2. Bhajji who had been on the sidelines since the Australia tour finally got a game since the management decided to give the guys on the bench a go and rest the regular bowlers. Following the game, in the post-match show Harbhajan Singh joined the three experts- Harsha Bhogle, VVS Laxman and Matthew Hayden who were analysing the match.

Before Harsha could ask the off-spinner anything about the game Laxman quickly turned to him and asked him ‘Bhajji, what do you think of my shirt’ to which the turbanator said, ‘very nice, you are looking very nice’. VVS told him that he was wearing a jacket before this segment and decided to take it off just to have his response on the pink shirt he was wearing. Harbhajan was quick to turn it and said ‘you are looking really nice and you are competing with Sherry pa (Navjyot Singh Siddhu) on that ’

They asked him what does he think about Hayden’s shirt, who was wearing a floral print shirt. Bhajji said Haydos is looking like he just came from Goa. The Australian told him that VVS was actually scared before Harbhajan walked in there; he said I have to get my jacket off before he comes. Laxman also said ‘I am very careful now whatever I am wearing, what is Bhajji going to comment on it.’

Continuing the fun, Harbhajan complemented Laxman saying that he was looking really nice and his shoes were the best.
