Can there be any better bout on the field than the one between the two legends of the game Brian Lara and Waqar Younis. There are some sights on the cricket field which are so piercing that you just can’t dare to take your eyes off from them.

Similar scenes were visible when Lara and Younis battled it out in 1997 in Rawalpindi Test. It was a ferocious battle between the bat and the ball with both geniuses at their peaks. Now tighten up your seat belts as you are about to witness something thrilling.

Waqar bowled an in-swinging ball to start the over but the West Indian southpaw was up to the task and defended the ball with solidity. But the next two deliveries were smashed by Lara for fours. He had smashed cracking cover-drives with the help of his quick feet movement to put the Pakistani legend in a spot of bother. On the next delivery, Lara scored 2 runs though it was far away from convincing.

But what happened next was a moment which every cricket fan would like to see again and again. Waqar delivered a deadly in-swinging Yorker in his trademark style to which Lara didn’t have any answer. Younis flattened Lara and the West Indian was almost floored as such was the pace and swing in the delivery which kissed his leg-stump. Brian was expecting a bouncer and that’s why he was completely out foxed by this sensational delivery and even one of his hands came off the bat.
