No other cricketer has been as active as Yuzvendra Chahal in recent times. Amid the pandemic, the leg-spinner has notched up his social media activities to a new high. Chahal, many a time, has been spotted dropping comments on Instagram live sessions of Indian cricketers as well as Bollywood actors.

Chahal, who was set to don the Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey in IPL 2020, has also resorted to TikTok during the COVID-19 outbreak. On top of that, Chahal never misses a chance to engage in a hilarious banter through Instagram comments.

England Women’s Danielle Wyatt has also been one of Chahal’s Instagram buddies who have often engaged in cheeky banter with the India international. During the Women’s T20 World Cup this year, Chahal had predicted that Wyatt could hit six sixes in an over. However, Wyatt had a rib-tickling reply under her sleeve as she said that she could only achieve that feat if Chahal was bowling at her.

Talking about her camaraderie with Chahal, Wyatt revealed that she has never met him till now. She even said that Chahal’s a fantastic bowler and is absolutely funny across social media.

“I have never met Chahal. We follow each other on Instagram and have some good friendly banter towards each other. He is a fantastic bowler and he is absolutely funny on social media too,” said Wyatt while talking to cricket.com.

Danielle Wyatt also recalled meeting Sachin Tendulkar and his son Arjun for the first time

Wyatt also reminisced the days when she used to train with Sachin Tendulkar and his son Arjun at Lord’s. The England international also revealed her first meet with the father and son duo.

“So, I first met Sachin and Arjun at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Maybe 2009 or 2010 when I was with MCC young cricketers and they were training in the nets. Literally I went to the nets and said hello and introduced myself saying I am Danni etc,” the 29-year-old said.

Furthermore, Wyatt also said that she always asks Arjun to bowl at her with the new ball at Lord’s. However, with the passage of time, Arjun has been getting very quick, according to Wyatt.

“I bowled to him that day, he was very good. Since then whenever I bump into Sachin or Arjun or whenever they come to Lord’s to train, I go to the nets and ask him (Arjun) to bowl the new ball to me. But he is getting very quick now. He always says I will bounce you and knock your head off so I don’t like him bowling to me anymore. He is getting too dangerous to face!”
