India A marched to their 3rd straight win in the Caribbean as they clinched the 5-match ODI series against the West Indies A with two games still to be played. India A batted first for the third time in a row and posted the biggest total among the three games. Shubman Gill struck 77 from only 81 balls with nine boundaries on a track that was tough to bat against the new ball. Shreyas Iyer struggled to play his shots as he scored 47 from 69 balls.

Skipper Manish Pandey got the big knock he was waiting for as he scored exactly 100 from 87 balls with six fours and five maximums. His brilliant ton played a key role in pushing India A’s total to 295/6. The visiting team won the first two matches by exactly 65-run margin but the victory in 3rd ODI was more than twice of that. Krunal Pandya, playing his first game of the series, took a 5-wicket haul as West Indies A were limited to just 147 despite a 51-run opening stand in nine overs.

Power Picks:

Rahul Chahar has impressive numbers in the List A cricket where he constantly looks for wickets rather than keeping it tight. In his 24-match short 50-overs career, the leg-spinner bagged 42 wickets at an average of 24.52. Rahul takes a wicket every 30 deliveries in this format and also has a 5-fer to his name.

Captain and Vice-Captain Selection:

Manish Pandey put on a great show with the bat in the previous game which he has been doing consistently during ‘A’ team tours. Krunal Pandya could enjoy bowling on the Windies tracks which have become slower. Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sunil Ambris, Raymon Reifer, Washington Sundar and Navdeep Saini will be best options for multipliers in the given conditions.

Expert Advice:

Shubman Gill, who got two fifties in previous two games, could be rested to allow Anmolpreet Singh one more game. Rahul Chahal might come back in place of his cousin Deepak given the slowness of the pitch at Coolidge. Ishan Kishan could be seen opening something India A has done in the later stages of the series in the past.

Probable Winners:

India A is expected to continue their domination and take a 4-0 lead in the 5-match series.
