'What is Bumrah doing alone?' - Twitter hilariously reacts to Sanjana Ganesan's return to work

Fans are hilariously questioning Jasprit Bumrah for not returning to action after his wife Sanjana Ganesan made a surprising return as a presenter. The couple tied the knot earlier this month in a private affair in Goa. At a time when celebrities hardly get privacy, Bumrah and Sanjana had managed to keep their entire relationship a secret.

Unsurprisingly, Bumrah was linked with a South Indian actress when he was released by Team India towards the end of last month. But it did not take the media and fans long to find out that the India pace spearhead was smitten by Sanjana. The couple, however, still managed to keep the news of their wedding under the wraps.

They announced the news of their wedding only after the entire occasion was completed. It was a private affair due to the COVID-19 pandemic and only a handful of close friends and guests had attended the wedding. The photos from the wedding started surfacing on the internet only after Bumrah and Sanjana announced about the same on their respective social media accounts.

On Friday, several fans took to Twitter to funnily ask the whereabouts of Jasprit Bumrah’s after spotting Sanjana Ganesan in the Star Sports studios before the start of the ongoing second ODI between India and England. Sanjana is a sports presenter and TV host and currently works with Star Sports. In the past, she has hosted IPL as well as the 2019 World Cup.

Having joined the broadcasters in 2016, Sanjana has also co-hosted the channel’s popular post-match show Match Point and Cheeky Singles. And as she made a surprising return to the studios on Friday few days after her wedding, the fans were all praise for her commitment.  Sanjana hosted Cricket Live, the pre-match show, before the start of the second ODI in Pune.

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah has not played for India since the third Test against England last month. He is likely to return to action when the IPL gets underway next month.
