The Tigers had already won the series after winning the third game by 10 runs. Their bowlers managed to strangle the opposition batters on a slow and low surface in Dhaka.

Though Mitchell Marsh is the leading run-scorer of the series, none of his major knocks has resulted in wins. Opening batter Daniel Christian scored 30 runs in a single over off Shakib Al Hasan, but despite his power-hitting, the Aussies took 19 overs to chase down the target of 105.
