West Indies started the T20I series against South Africa on a grand note. After winning the opening match by five wickets with 30 balls to spare, Kieron Pollard and Co looked the firm favourites to clinch the series.

However, their fortunes have turned around and they are in a bit of trouble. Having lost their previous two matches, the Caribbean team has slumped 1-2 down in the series. In the previous match on Tuesday, June 29, Pollard’s men lost by one run.

The fourth game of the series is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 1 and the home team is in a must-win scenario. As far as the Proteas are concerned, they have been able to hold their nerves while defending totals.

Their bowlers have come to the party. Kagiso Rabada conceded a four and a six in his last over, but he bowled three dot balls owing to which the visitors could go over the line in the thrilling contest.
