The second Test match between West Indies and Pakistan is currently in progress. The hosts are leading the series 1-0 and it is imperative for Pakistan to win the final game to level the series. But the encounter has been marred by rain and on Day three, the play finally resumed for the first time since stumps on Day 1. While Fawad Alam starred with an unbeaten 124, pacer Hasan Ali was also trending during the day’s play.

The reason for the same was the bizarre shades the fast bowler used while bowling. This isn’t the first time that a cricketer has used hilarious and funny goggles while on the field. Sam Curran had used one such funky shade during a game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this year while Rishabh Pant did it during the second Test against England at Lord’s.

Hasan Ali’s antics didn’t go unnoticed on social media either as the fans were left in splits with his look after wearing the shades. As for his performance, Hasan scored nine runs off 28 balls but stitched a crucial 36-run stand with Fawad Alam for the 8th wicket. When his turn came to bowl, the 27-year-old hit nagging lines and lengths as usual to concede only 8 runs in three overs.

Pakistan on top in the second Test

With only two days left, Pakistan are currently on top in the ongoing second Test. After declaring the innings on 302/9, they managed to snaffle three West Indies batsmen in 18 overs. They will now be hoping for the rain to stay away and then make the ball talk to dismiss the home side as early as possible in order to force the result.

Hasan Ali will definitely play a huge role if Pakistan are to pick 17 more wickets to win the Test and level the series. For now though the pace bowler has sought everyone’s attention with his trendy look after wearing unique sports glasses while on the field during the third day’s play. The fans were surprised to see him and hilariously reacted to his new look.
