WI vs PAK: Jason Holder sledges Mohammad Rizwan from slips, reminds him of his dismissal from first Test

Test cricket is considered the ultimate format of the game and there is absolutely no doubt that it produces some enthralling contests. Amidst the resilience, patience, and thrill of red-ball cricket, a bit of sledging and banter further takes up the heat of the contests. In the ongoing Test match between West Indies and Pakistan, Jason Holder was at his best whilst sledging the Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan from the slip cordon.

Amidst the opening day of the second Test in Kingston, all-rounder Jason Holder brought some intriguing banter on the field. West Indies were in a dominating position as they removed the top three of Pakistan Abid Ali (1), Imran Butt (1), and Azhar Ali (0) in quick succession. Captain Babar Azam and Fawad Alam then held the fort for the side putting up a partnership of 158 runs. After adding 76 runs to his account Fawad Alam retired hurt as he dealt with massive cramps in Jamaica’s heat.

Mohammad Rizwan then entered the field to replace Alam. The former West Indies captain Jason Holder then tried to pump up the scenario by putting up a verbal exchange. The West Indies cricket shared a video wherein Holder is seen reminding Kyle Mayers, who was bowling from the other end, about the dismissal of Rizwan in the last match. in the first Test, Holder had pitched the ball full just outside off and looking to play a shot, Rizwan walked back to the pavilion.

West Indies registered a thrilling victory over Pakistan in the first Test

In the first Test, Pakistan looked well in control on the final day, but West Indies exuded great character to register an enthralling victory by one wicket. Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales made sure that they take the team past victory by staying firm. Thus, walking into this Test West Indies would have had their spirits high after taking the lead of 1-0 in the series.

About the ongoing Test match, the second day got completely washed out due to rain. Pakistan has lost four wickets and has 212 runs on the board as of now. Rizwan (22*) and Faheem Ashraf (23*) are in the middle for Pakistan after Kemar Roach dismissed Babar Azam.
