Indian Women continued their unbeaten record in Asia Cup by bagging yet another title with the 17-run win against Pakistan in the final at Bangkok. After electing to bat, India posted 121/5 in their 20 overs with Mithali Raj steadying the ship with an unbeaten 73. Despite getting off to a good start, Pakistan Women ended up with 104/6 only. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.

1 – Mithali Raj became the first Indian woman to receive a player of the series award in a multi-nation tournament in T20 format. In ODIs, only 2 Indian women received a series award in multi-nation tournament.

3 – Number of fifty plus scores Mithali Raj has in finals in limited-overs cricket (ODIs & T20Is). Only Belinda Clark has as many as Mithali in finals of Women’s cricket. Both of them featured in 5 innings in tournament finals.

5 – Number of times Mitali Raj has scored more than 50% of the team’s total in a completed innings in T20Is, joint most times by any player in Women’s T20Is. CM Edwards and SR Taylor are the other two players. Mithali in fact is the only player to score more than 60% of team’s total in a completed innings in Women’s T20Is on two different occasions.

6 – India Women now have won in all the 6 editions of the Asia Cup: 4 in ODI format and 2 in T20I format.

32 – Number of matches Indian Women have played in Asia Cup history so far. They won in all those 32 matches.

50 – Jhulan Goswami became the first Indian Woman to take 50 wickets in T20I format. Overall, she is the 18th player to do so.

60.33% – Percentage of India’s total scored by Mithali Raj in this game, the 8th highest by any player and 2nd by an Indian in a completed T20I innings in Women’s cricket. Highest is Harmanpreet Kaur’s 66.12% runs of India’s total in a T20I in 2011 vs Australia.

73* – Mithali Raj’s 73* is the highest individual score by any player in a T20I final in Women’s cricket. Previous highest was 66 by West Indies’ Hayley Matthews against Australia in WT20 2016 final.

73* – Mithali Raj’s 73* is her highest individual score in T20I format. This is the 3rd highest score by any Indian in T20Is in Women’s Cricket.

99.25 – Mithali Raj’s average in knockout games in Internationals (ODIs & T20Is), the highest for any player in Women’s cricket. (Min: 5 innings)

121/5 – India’s total of 121/5 is the highest in India-Pakistan T20Is in Women’s cricket. Previous highest is 106 by India on two occasions.

135 – Mithali Raj’s average in finals in internationals (ODIs & T20Is), the highest for any player in Women’s cricket. (Min: 5 innings)

220 – Runs scored by Mithali Raj in this edition of Asia Cup, the 4th most runs scored by any Woman in overall and the most by an Indian Woman in a T20I series/tournament. Mithali broke the Indian record of 208 runs in 2014 WT20, which was held by herself.
