Preview:
The defending champions Brisbane Heat hasn’t got a great start to the season losing two of their first three matches. Their tournament began with a huge 92- run win over Sydney Sixers, their runners up of the 2018/19 season. It was followed up with a defeat against Sydney Thunder and 9- wicket loss in their first home game against Perth Scorchers on Saturday.
They will take on Hobart Hurricanes, the other team which was on the losing side on Saturday at the Allan Border Field. The Hurricanes got twin wins against the Melbourne Renegades on the opening weekend. Their winning spree came to an end against Adelaide Strikers where they fell four runs short of the target.
Weather Condition/Report:
A bit of cloud cover is expected at the Allan Border Field towards the end of the game but no rain is forecasted.
Pitch Condition/Report:
The batting got easy as the day progressed at the Allan Border Field on Saturday. The best batting conditions could be seen during the second innings of the second match on Sunday. Targets up to 150 can be chased down and hence the team batting first among Brisbane and Hobart will target at least 160.
Average first innings score: 123 (Women’s T20s since 2017)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 5, Lost – 2

Top Picks:
Heather Knight and Nicola Carey will hold the key in the fantasy team. Knight had an average game against Strikers but Carey continued her consistency. Beth Mooney’s WBBL record with the bat is only next to Ellyse Perry and Meg Lanning. Amelia Kerr went wicketless against the Scorchers but Hurricanes’ line-up is fragile and could pick a couple of wickets.

Hobart Hurricanes are the only team who did not announce squad for this weekend. They did play with the same XI from the previous game on Saturday. Hence, they could be seen turning up with the same side on Sunday despite the 3-run defeat.
