The 7th match of the Women’s Super Smash 2019-20 will be played between Wellington Blaze and Central Hinds at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln.
The match starts at 4:00 PM local time (3:00 AM GMT) (8:30 AM IST).
Both Wellington Blaze and Central Hinds made a positive start to the tournament. Katie Perkins’s 65-run knock helped Wellington to finish on 204/5 and end up with a 68-run win. On the other hand, Central Hinds defeated the last season’s runners Canterbury Magicians. They successfully defend their total of 137/7 in the tournament opener. The Hinds will face the Northern Spirit at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval in the game on Saturday morning. In the evening, Blaze and Hinds will face off at the same venue.
The Bert Sutcliffe Oval is likely to be under periodic clouds but no rain is forecasted for Saturday.
Compared to the other grounds in Lincoln, the Bert Sutcliffe Oval is better in terms of scoring. During the last season, three of the four matches recorded totals over 120. A target as high as 159 was also got chased down in that edition. The game between Blaze and Hinds will be the 2nd of the day and hence, we might see a dip in the total from the morning match.
