The India-Pakistan rivalry is one of the biggest in the history of cricket. Whenever these two teams come face-to-face against each other, they try to do everything possible to register a win. The contests between both these teams are highly-awaited and a crowd delight. Just a few hours before the commencement of the game, the social media handle of the Mumbai police came up with a savage post like they usually do. They made to the best use of the green traffic signal and mocked the arch-rivals. In their tweet, Mumbai police shared the picture of a green signal. They urged the team to accelerate the way they usually do whenever they see the ‘green’. Here, they were trying to indicate about the Pakistan team who wears a green jersey.

“India, see green? Accelerate. Like you always do. #INDvsPAK #IndiavsPakistan,” wrote Mumbai police in their tweet.

Thus far, India and Pakistan met each other on six occasions in the World Cup starting from 1992. On all of these occasions, the ‘Men in Blue‘ emerged triumphs and completely dominated the opposition. This is the seventh time when these two teams are meeting in a World Cup game. While Team India looks to keep the 27-year-old record intact, Pakistan will be eyeing to break it at least this time around.

Meanwhile, this tweet from the Mumbai police went viral on social media almost instantly. Users started hailing the persons who handle the social media account of the police department. One of the users tweeted that the admin was a genius while another person wrote: “Bhai kaun hai tumhara memer? hum yaha kyu baithe hai?”.

For the starters, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first in this encounter. The team made two changes to the eleven and roped in Imad Wasim as well as Shadab Khan. Asif Ali and Shaheen Afridi are the two players who were benched. India, on the other hand, roped in Vijay Shankar in place of Shikhar Dhawan.
