The day has come and the wait is finally over as India and Pakistan are set to clash with each other in the much-awaited contest at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
India did not expect a negative start to the tournament considering their blazing form coming into the tournament. They were handed a shocking defeat by New Zealand in their first game of the big tournament. However, that loss can actually motivate them to come hard and strong against their arch-rivals.
The Pakistan team is high on confidence after satisfying win against Sri Lanka in the practice game and grounding Bangladesh in their Super 10 stage opener.
There is obviously no doubt about the fact that the match would be enlivening considering their past meeting which have given some electric contests.
