Rohit Sharma also dwelled on the importance of team bonding. Stating that there is a lot of interaction among the players about the game, Rohit revealed that the bonding of the team is important. The ‘Hitman’ also added that a lot of people are involved in the Mumbai franchise whether it is something that concerns the game or it is something even away from the game.

“Lot of players getting involved in whatever it is. Whether it is going outside and playing a game, whether it is doing the fitness things, whether it is attending meetings. We try and do that with the entire group of players. There’s a lot of interaction about the game that is being played or the game that is about to come. And just to keep that bonding going between players is so important,” said Sharma in a chat with the social media team of the Mumbai Indians.

Rohit further highlighted the importance of togetherness. Adding that there are new faces every year in the Mumbai squad, Rohit concluded by revealing that it is important for everyone to adjust to the team culture.

“Because every year, you see new faces coming into the squad. And you want everyone to get adjusted to the MI culture as quickly as possible. So, it’s important to have that togetherness,” concluded Sharma.

The Mumbai Indians will play their next IPL match on 17th April 2021 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) outfit.
