Indian pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah married sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in March last year. Bumrah missed the home limited-overs series against England for the big occasion. It has been more than a year since the duo got hitched and has been posting pictures regularly on social media.

As Sanjana Ganesan turned 31 on May 6, her better half Jasprit came forward with an adorable birthday wish for her. Taking to his official Twitter handle, the premier speedster has posted a picture of him and Sanjana together.

“Happy birthday to my lovely wife! You deserve the very best out of life because you are the very best thing that has ever happened to me,” Bumrah wrote in the caption. The adorable couple keeps on posting pictures of them together to keep their fans updated. Sanjana was covering the Women’s World Cup in New Zealand when the IPL 2022 started but now has joined her cricketer husband in the bio-bubble.

The duo had tied the knot in Goa on March 15, 2021, in what was supposedly a private ceremony. While Bumrah is one of the key members of India across formats as well as the Mumbai Indians in the IPL, Sanjana is a sports broadcaster working for Star Sports.

Bumrah not having a great IPL season

As far as MI’s IPL 2022 campaign is concerned, they became the very first team to be knocked out of the competition almost a couple of weeks ago after a 36-run defeat against the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants. However, the five-time winners did eventually succeed in adding the first two points to their tally after eight unsuccessful attempts with a five-wicket win over the Rajasthan Royals last week.

Bumrah, on the other hand, has also had a season to forget not being able to make inroads with the ball in hand. The 28-year-old who was one of the franchise’s mandatory retentions for IPL 2022, has picked up five wickets from nine matches at an economy rate of 7.46.
