'You have seen more India than me'- Harbhajan Singh on Jonty Rhodes taking a dip in Holy Ganga

Jonty Rhodes, the former South African cricketer is currently in India ahead of the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League that is slated to begin from March 29. And, it looks like he is enjoying every moment in the country by visiting different places. Moreover, he is giving every update over the same to his fans through his official account. The South African recently shared a still taking a dip in the Ganges river of India in Rishikesh. Later on, Harbhajan Singh, the veteran Indian spinner made a request in a hilarious fashion to the former player.

The 50-year-old was appointed as the fielding coach of Kings XI Punjab for its 13th edition. He will be working alongside Wasim Jaffer, who will be the batting coach of the Punjab based franchise and Anil Kumble as the director of operations. The former South Africa player had previously worked with four-time champions Mumbai Indians as their fielding coach. However, this year he was roped in by KXIP in order to help them in grabbing their maiden IPL title.

Harbhajan Singh has a request for Jonty Rhodes

Recently, Jonty Rhodes took to his Twitter handle and shared a still taking a dip in the holy river Ganga. He also gave a caption to the same that read, “Benefits of cold water immersion in the Holy Ganges are both physical and spiritual #moksha #rishikesh.”

Soon this post came under the radar of Harbhajan Singh, the veteran Indian spinner, who remains quite active nowadays on social media. The 39-year-old said that Rhodes has seen more India than him. Even, he requested to take him along next time.

He quickly took to his official handle and replied– “You have seen more India than me my friend.. good to see you enjoying and having a dip in holy Ganga next time take me along.”

Harbhajan Singh will soon join Chennai Super Kings for the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League. He has worked with Rhodes in the past when he was playing for Mumbai Indians in the cash-rich league. The off-spinner has so far grabbed a total of 150 wickets in the cash-rich league. Also, he is one of the four bowlers in the history of IPL to do so.
