The monsoon has struck India in full tilt and a lot of places all around the country have suffered quite a bit. Relentless rain has had people ducking for cover and there has been a lot of difficulty in all aspects of life. Vadodara has received a massive amount of precipitation in the last few days.

In fact, it rained almost non-stop for two days and day-to-day activities were affected big time. There were floods in quite a few parts in Gujarat, including Vadodara. Thus, basic life activities were hit. However, they found rescuers in the form of the Pathan brothers. Irfan and Yusuf Pathan and their team have been working to provide food and basic necessities of life for the flood-hit victims in Vadodara.

Yusuf was seen arranging food for the victims. The 36-year-old all-rounder was also seen serving a few people. He was involved in helping the affected people get proper food.

Irfan Pathan promises help for hostel girls

Meanwhile, Irfan Pathan has also been helping people. A fan on Twitter asked for help. She tagged both Yusuf and Irfan in a tweet where he stated that there are girls who are stuck in their hostel because of the rains and haven’t been able to get proper food for the last few days. Irfan pretty quick to reply to that tweet. Inside a couple of hours, he said that someone from the team will soon get in touch and help them out.

The Pathan brothers have been out off the national side for a while now. While Irfan was a part of Jammu and Kashmir last season as a mentor and player, Yusuf is still a part of the Baroda side. However, the former was last seen in the Syed Mushtaq Ai Trophy earlier this year and has been a part of Star Sports panel for the IPL and World Cup.

Meanwhile, Yusuf Pathan was last seen on the cricket field during the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this year. He turned out to play for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The all-rounder played 10 matches and played eight innings while remaining unbeaten in five of those as he scored 40 runs.
