India’s Yusuf Pathan had traveled all the way to Nairobi, Kenya to play for the Stray Lions Cricket Club in a local tournament. There were no immediate domestic assignments and since he is in a red hot patch of form wanted to make the most of it and also keep himself match fit. Yusuf flew back home yesterday but when he landed in Mumbai was shocked to not find his luggage around.
When he enquired with the Kenya Airlines staff they said that it wasn’t there on the flight. Yusuf was later informed that his baggage was not loaded and was still there in Kenya. And he would only get it a day after. He was disappointed at the quality of service offered by the international carrier and decided to tweet about it.
Yusuf wrote – ‘As I landed in Mumbai today from Kenya figured out my luggage was missing. Once I couldn’t find it contacted the @KenyaAirways. (1/2)’

Earlier, he had received an approval from the board to play the tournament in Kenya. Before flying off he was quoted by mid-day saying, “In order to be match-fit, I will be in Kenya, playing for a couple of weeks. I have got clearance from the BCCI.
“I am eagerly looking forward to my first appearance in the League,”
He has worked harder on his fitness and that has reflected in his performance. “After coming in contact with Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) trainer Adrian Le Roux, my fitness regime has changed for the better. I follow his schedule religiously and it helped me have a good IPL 2016 during which experts talked about my fitness and agility along with my performance,” Yusuf had said.
