Yuvraj Singh broke down at his wedding in Goa

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh recently got hitched to actress Hazel Keech in Goa. Yuvraj was one of the most sought after bachelors in the country. He finally crossed the line of bachelorhood and started his new innings of life. The entire cricket fraternity had their words of well wishes for the newly wed. The wedding ceremonies began with the traditional Sangeet ceremony at Chandigarh on November 29.

The entire Indian team had made their presence felt at the Sangeet ceremony. The team had turned up to attend the wedding ceremony after their scintillating win over England in the Mohali Test. The ceremony was followed by their wedding at a Gurudwara. The wedding was attended by the close friends and relatives of the families of Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech.

The couple wed again, this time as per the traditional Hindu rituals, at Goa. December 2 was the date of their wedding in Goa. A host of celebrities ranging from Bollywood stars to cricketers attended the function. Virat Kohli, Angad Bedi, Rohit Sharma, Anushka Sharma were a few of them.

At his wedding, Yuvraj Singh got very emotional as he gave a speech. He spoke on how women play an integral part in any person’s life. A very emotional Yuvraj struck the sentimental chords during his speech. He is very close to his mother, Shabnam Singh. His mother has been with him in the thick and thin of his life.

No wonder why Yuvi was so touched when he thanked his mother for everything she has ever done for him. It was a very sweet gesture by Yuvraj Singh to speak about his mother. Very rarely do we see people acknowledge the support role that the families play in their lives.

The wedding reception will take place on December 7. Yuvraj’s father, Yograj Singh, did not attend the wedding in Goa. He, however, had attended the Sangeet party at Chandigarh.
