An upbeat Indian team’s dominance in the Caribbean Island stuttered in the 4th of the 5 ODIs against the West Indies, which they lost by 11 runs. While Jason Holder was at his devastating best with the ball, nobody from India’s famed batting line-up could get going, except MS Dhoni, who scored a half century but utilised as many as 108 balls to get there. It was his slowest ODI innings, also the second slowest in the history of ODIs.

Off the field, though, the cricketers are enjoying their time out on the beaches, in the pools, and visit the homes of some of the West Indian mates. As for Yuvraj Singh, the batsman seems to be doing his bit to promote his foundation charity YouWeCan in the Caribbean. An Instagram post went viral which might have been taken during one of the net sessions or before the 4th ODI, in which Yuvraj is seen gifting one of his Youwecan bats to West Indies’ Darren Bravo, who is not a part of the current series.

The 5th and final match of the series will decide if India can win the series or will it be a draw. Yuvi didn’t feature in the 4th ODI due to a sore hamstring and Dinesh Karthik was replaced in place of him. Yuvraj has been in a very poor run in the last few ODIs, his last best score was against Pakistan in the opening game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, in which he plundered a sensational half century. However, he has got the backing of captain Virat Kohli who doesn’t want to drop him for a few bad performances.

Do-or-die

The 5th ODI will be played in Kingston on July 5 and if the team doesn’t win the series it will only aggravate the problems caused after his rift with ex India coach Anil Kumble. For Kohli, this series can be a great boost if they win.
