The Indian superstar Yuvraj Singh is enjoying his cricket in leagues around the world after retiring from international cricket sometime back this year. The left-handed batsman is widely considered to be one of the greatest limited-overs players to come out of India and was awarded the Player of the Tournament in India’s victorious 2011 World Cup campaign.

His life story is amazingly inspirational given that he was diagnosed with cancer soon after the World Cup triumph and missed a good part of his career recovering from the disease. He did make a comeback into the Indian team, but could never cement his place in the team for long given decreased level of fitness and form. After missing out on 2019 World Cup selection and not being in selectors’ plans, he decided to hang up his boots.

Yuvraj Singh has a hilarious conversation with Walton in Punjabi

Meanwhile, the former India all-rounder is currently enjoying his time in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. He is plying his trade for the Maratha Arabians side and despite playing two matches so far, he has been unable to make a big score and contribute a big score. He got out after scoring six runs on his T10 league debut followed by a 14-run cameo against Qalandars on Sunday.

Given his jovial nature, the southpaw was seen having some fun with his Arabians teammates and one of them was West Indies, Chadwick Walton. Yuvraj went ahead and had a small convo with the Caribbean cricketer in Punjabi, which left the Indian cricketer in splits. The former Indian cricketer could not control his laughter even as the West Indies cricketer tried copying his accent and tried muttering the sentence in Punjabi.

Here is the video of the same:

Yuvraj Singh talked about his new life after international cricket. “I am loving this phase of my career. I really enjoyed playing in Canada. Unfortunately, I could not go to CPL because of its schedule. But playing two or three formats a year is actually great for me. I have a retired life. I get to work on things that I want to after my retirement. When I miss cricket, I have these two or three tournaments to play,” Yuvraj was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
