The IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is having a dream run in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team is proudly standing at the second position in the points tally with seven wins in ten fixtures and is only behind Delhi Capitals, who also have the same number of wins but is ahead of the Bangalore outfit due to a better run rate.

The ‘Play Bold’ franchise had registered an easy victory against arch-rivals Kolkata Knight Riders on October 21, Wednesday at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. It was a bowlers’ day for RCB as Mohammed Siraj scripted a victory for his team by taking three wickets in the powerplay and becoming the only bowler in the 13 years history of the league to bowl two consecutive maiden overs.

After a clinical win against the Knight Riders, the RCB skipper Virat Kohli took to his official Twitter handle to share a picture featuring him, AB de Villiers, the young Devdutt Padikkal and the pacer Siraj. More than the picture it was the caption that attracted the attention of many on social media. Giving a hilarious touch to his post, Virat wrote that the pic took him back to the school days where AB is the only child who has completed his homework while the other three are up for punishment for not complying with the teacher’s words.

Kohli tweeted, “This pic takes me back to school days. 4 guys from the same class, and AB is the kid who’s finished homework and is prepared and the other 3 know they are in trouble”

Yuzvendra Chahal funny comment on Virat’s post

The post by the Indian captain Virat Kohli quickly garnered a lot of likes and comments. The lethal spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Rashid Khan were no behind as they also made hilarious comments on Kohli’s post. Giving the reason for his absence from the picture, Chahal wrote that he had bunked the class for not completing his homework. Rashid, on the other hand, labeled Siraj as the kid who isn’t even aware that the teacher had assigned some work to them.
