Yuzvendra Chahal, when not bamboozling batters with his vicious legspinners, is always the one who mocks fellow teammates and has banter with them. Never too shy to have a go at his mates, Chahal is the one who always keeps the spirits of the team up with his positive and jolly attitude.
The legspinner was last seen in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). After the tournament got suspended due to rising cases in the bio-bubble, the 30-year-old has been spending his time with his family and friends.
Always the one to make fun videos and short clips, this time too, Chahal shared an interesting video on his Instagram handle along with his wife Dhanashree Verma and made a grand entry to announce their arrival on a new video-making app. The legspinner shared the video on Friday, June 4, on his Instagram account. In the same video, Chahal said, ‘I think every spinner should get married’, to which Dhanashree responded by saying, ‘marry ok but why every spinner?’
Chahal replied with a wink, ‘Because I learned to bowl googly from wife.’ Chahal’s hilarious answer left everyone in splits and fans started to flood his account appreciating the 30-year-old spinner’s witty answer.
Rashid Khan’s hilarious response on Chahal’s post
Among several comments, Afghanistan star legspinner Rashid Khan, too, left a reply with a bit of a twist, stating he knows bowling googlies without getting married with two laughing emoticons.

This is not the first time Rashid Khan has given a reply to Chahal, as he is often seen giving smart answers to several Indian cricketers including Suryakumar Yadav, Priyam Garg and Shreyas Iyer. The Afghanistan star player is one of the regular features of the IPL playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Over the last three to four years, he has developed a special bonding with many Indian cricketers.
Meanwhile, Chahal is expecting a call-up for India’s limited-overs tour to Sri Lanka starting in July. Earlier the legspinner was seen disappointed in not playing Test cricket in one of his recent interviews. But all is not lost as a good showing during the Sri Lanka tour might make his case strong for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
