Watch: Zaheer Khan blushes on receiving an unexpected proposal: Zaheer Khan today announced retirement from international cricket. A fantastic career marked its end with Zak’s decision. He is perhaps very well-known as a lethal left arm fast bowler who helped India win many accolades in his career. Zaheer Khan has a strong fans following and is an inspiration for all budding fast bowlers in India.

On the field Zaheer was a match winner. However, he was not a dull personality at all and he had an exciting life outside cricket too. He is believed to have dated a couple of beautiful ladies in the past.

In the below video, a female fan lets her heart out in front of the whole stadium, rather the world and declares her love for Zaheer on a placard.

This incident happened when India were playing Pakistan in the TVS cup 2005 at Bangalore. India were batting in reply to Pakistan’ mammoth 570 runs. Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag were in the middle.

The cameraman, however spots a woman with a placard in her hand. The woman suddenly finds herself on the giant screen with placard which catches the attention of Yuvraj Singh and the man of the moment Zaheer Khan. The placard read ‘Zaheer I love you’. Suddenly, there were blushing faces everywhere. The crowd was roaring and all the attention is on the woman and her love Zaheer. Yuvraj, in his usual mischievous avatar, began pointing towards Zaheer as the woman hid her blushing face.

This drama does not end here. The girl, who now had grabbed the attention of thousands of fans, goes a stepahead and blows a kiss at Zaheer. The crowd again erupts while Yuvraj and Zaheer are not able to control their laughter. Yuvraj looked so excited that if allowed he would have himself thrown kisses at the lady. Finally, a shy Zaheer reacted to the open hearted proposal of her female fan by replying with another flying kiss.

Everyone in the dressing room were chuckling including Virender Sehwag who was about to take strike. The woman surely stole the limelight at least briefly.
