Zimbabwe declare 15 members squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015:The Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) selectors have selected the 15 members Zimbabwe cricket team for the ICC cricket world cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand. There was no big surprise in the announcement and the regular names which feature in Zimbabwe team have been trusted to play the world cup 2015 as well.

Elton Chigumbura has been successful in retaining his captaincy despite of a discouraging series against Bangladesh where they lost all the 5 ODIs towards the end of 2014. A shocking inclusion was Prosper Utseya who was banned by the ICC for bowling with an illegal bowling action in the ODIs and required to undergo a changed action, go through a revised action. There has been no clarity of him going through the mandatory bowling action test as well.

The squad will be coached by Dav Whatmore for the world cup who has been appointed as the coach for the big tournament. Whatmore has had good international tenures as coach though he cannot change the fortune hugely but surely can ensure the Zimbabwe save some pride in this world cup.

The Zimbabew 15 members Squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015:

Elton Chigumbura (capt), Sikandar Raza, Regis Chakabva, Tendai Chatara, Chamu Chibhabha, Craig Ervine, Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Hamilton Masakadza, Stuart Matsikenyeri, Solomon Mire, Tawanda Mupariwa, Tinashe Panyangara, Brendan Taylor, Prosper Utseya, Sean Williams
