The Mashonaland Eagles and Mid West Rhinos will face off in the 3rd place play-off game on Sunday morning. The two teams were slated to play the final league game to have a chance of making it to the final but the rain gods had other plans. The Mashonaland Eagles will be considering themselves unlucky as two of their six games ended without a result in the round-robin phase.

Their game against Mountaineers on Friday also got abandoned without a toss. The Mountaineers edged over the Eagles by only one point as one of their two victories were by bonus point while the Eagles didn’t have any. The Eagles even had a higher NRR than that of the Mountaineers. They will be now hoping to gain a consolation win and finish at No.3 in this Zimbabwe T20 tournament.
