Zimbabwe vs Pakistan 2nd ODI: Twitter Reactions: In what can be termed as one of the most exciting and controversial matches of the year, Zimbabwe edged past Pakistan by 5 runs in D/L method. Pakistan, after winning the toss, chose to field. Zimbabwe, after a cautious start, ended up scoring a competitive 276, thanks to invaluable fifties from captain Chigumbura and opener Chibhabha.
Pakistan, in response, got off to a worst possible start, with the scoreline reading 40-4 after 14 overs. While Shoiab Malik stuck at one side of the crease, no one else could support him. When things were looking down an out at 80-6, Ameer Yamin came in. Both of them put on an incredible partnership to pull off a stunner of a victory. But Zimbabwe’s consistent bowling payed dividends, and Yamin lost his wicket at a crucial time. But the match was hung in balance, with Shoaib Malik still in the crease. But the fans were robbed off a thrilling ending, thanks to bad light.
While credit to Zimbabwe to bounce back really well post a mediocre performance in the first match, the Pakistani team would be really disappointed in the manner in which the match’s fate was decided eventually.
Following an eventual but controversial match, here are Zimbabwe vs Pakistan 2nd ODI: Twitter Reactions:

Bad lights overshadowed Pakistan's fight back. One of the best ODI innings by Shoaib Malik in vain as Zimbabwe win by 5 runs on D/L method.

Zimbabwe win by 5 runs on DLS method. Pakistan fall to 9 in ICC Rankings. Four days ago they qualified for CT'17 for being in top eight.

Team with zero sportsmanship : it's neither India nor Bangladesh. The award goes to ZIMBABWE. Congratulations! #PakvZim #ZimvPak

Farcical stuff from the umpires. Wouldn't have gone off if Steve Bucknor was umpiring 🙂 #Cricket #ZimvPak

They should've been off already, but to suddenly pull them off after playing through rain & with no warning is poor umpiring. #ZimvPak

Surely common sense should prevail in this sort of situation. Only 12 balls (approx 10 minutes) left & no 90mph bowlers #ZimvPak #Cricket

Gutted for Shoaib Malik. Only 4 runs short of becoming the first Pakistan batsman to make a ODI 100 in a chase batting at number 5 #Cricket

A lot of people within the Pakistani cricketing fraternity who'd have refused to believe tht Aamir Yamin would one almost win a match for Pk

Unlucky Pakistan but they played really well, Shoaib Malik what an innings under pressure! Aamir Yamin new Abdul Razzaq in the making.
