The great nation of India is currently seeing one of the biggest festivals a democracy can celebrate, general elections. The 2019 Lok Sabha Polls are undergoing all over the country, celebrities are urging people to go out and cast their vote to choose the proper responsible person to represent them. First, it was icon Sachin Tendulkar who encouraged Mumbaikars to cast their votes and the latest to join that list is Ziva Dhoni.

On the other hand, it was the first time, the general elections and the Indian Premier League (IPL) happened side by side in the country, as in 2009, the entire tournament was shifted to South Africa and then in 2014, the first half of the tournament was played in UAE and then shifted to India once the polling ended.

MS Dhoni and Ziva appeal for the citizens to vote

Recently, polling reached the East Zone of Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh and that meant people in MS Dhoni’s home town cast their votes to pick their representatives to be sent to the Parliament. Ziva Dhoni and MS then took to Instagram to share a cute video message in which Ziva is asking people to go out there and vote like her Mumma and Papa did, with a proud and smiling MSD showing his marked finger after voting.
