5. David Willey – Carolynne Poole

For singer Carolynne Poole, it was love at first sight as soon as she saw David Willey. For a cricket game, Carolynne went to the stadium to support her good friend Jonny Bairstow. That was when Willey’s picture appeared on the giant screen and she immediately thought it is the most beautiful face in the world.

After the game, she went to say goodbye to Jonny knowing that Willey would be there. She got quite shy in the first meeting itself and rushed back to the car. After looking at how the events progressed, David Willey found out who she was.

He then texted her and the couple got to know each other. The cricketer then proposed her and then they tied the knot. In the IPL, David Willey plays for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

This put a big smile on my face today… found some snaps from our wedding after party that I’ve never seen before. We’ve got some beautiful official wedding photos but some of my favourites are the not so perfect ones. The ones that you can see all the imperfections from the day in, the real ones with the natural smiles, the ones we didn’t know were being taken. I’m so glad that throughout the Day David and I stuck together to experience it all rather than be pulled off in different directions separately. We were in our own little world that day and both had the most amazing time. The fake glam and the reality 😂 Determined to get my pre baby bod back! Safe to say that my first run today was NOT pretty!! Got to get myself motivated so thought I’d stick a self indulgent pic up from a shoot I did when I wasn’t so body conscious. 2 close together pregnancy’s & 2 Caesarian sections later I certainly feel slightly broken. Definitely time to put some work into getting myself back into the best shape I can be both physically and mentally so I can be a better wife and mummy. I’m not saying you need to be fit to be a good mum but for me, when I feel healthy and confident I’m in a much better head space.
