11 Facts about Pravin Tambe- An inspirational Warrior: At an age when cricketers usually hang their boots, Pravin Tambe was seen lifting his franchise to great heights.The leg-spinner made his senior debut at the age of 41 during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 and dazzled during Rajasthan’s Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) 2013 encounter against the Lions by picking four wickets. Tambe has certainly become an inspiration to many cricketers.   • Tendulkar needed to practice against the leg-spinners before a particular series. That’s when Pravin Tambe bowled to Tendulkar at the Brabourne Stadium for the first time.

Pravin Tambe also got the purple cap for the first time in his career by becoming the highest wicket taker in IPL 2014 (till the 25th match)
