New Zealand’s left-arm spinner, Mitchell Santner has shared a good amount of success in the limited-overs format. He gained limelight during the 2016 World Cup where he owned 10 scalps in 5 matches including a four-wicket-haul against India in the first match.

Santner was brought by MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings for Rs 50 Lakh in 2018 IPL auction. Unfortunately, he was ruled out of the tournament owing to a knee injury he faced during England Test series in 2017. He is yet to make a return since and Chennai might release him ahead of the upcoming 12th edition of IPL.
