The Madhya Pradesh-born big-hitting batsman, Harpreet Singh was the brightest spot of Chattisgarh’s campaign in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019-20. Singh represented Chattisgarh in 7 matches where he amassed 329 runs at a blistering strike rate of 146.22.

The left-handed batsman has been a part of two IPL franchises in the past namely Kolkata Knight Riders and Pune Warriors. However, the team management of those two teams could not utilize his talent to the maximum potential.

The Delhi-based IPL franchise has a history of unearthing new talents hence, they could sign the 28-year-old batsman who has been playing T20 cricket since 2010. Singh was also a part of the Indian U-19 team during the early days of his career.
