5 Best batsmen of BPL 2015: The third edition of the Bangladesh Premier League had some of the best cricket entertainment that any cricket fan would love to see. The tournament was a bigger hit than its previous editions owing to the addition of more overseas players and a new franchise, Comilla Victorians. The Victorians certainly did not disappoint the fans one bit.
The batting right throughout the tournament was of top class. While the West Indian U19 player, Evin Lewis (Barisal Bulls), scored the only century of the season against the Dhaka Dynamites; the ultimate showman Chris Gayle got very close with an unbeaten 92 against the Chittagong Vikings. While there were many heroes with the bat, few lit up the tournament like none other.
Here we have the 5 Best batsmen of BPL 2015:
5. Tillakaratne Dilshan:
The Sri Lanka opener represented the Chittagong Vikings and was one of the batting mainstays for his team. He provided the early flurry of runs to his team and scored 260 runs in the 10 innings that he played in at an average of 28.88. He is among the top 5 highest run-getters of this season of the BPL. Having an incredible strike-rate of 133.33, Dilshan bludgeoned the bowling lineup of the opposition on most occasions. His top score was an unbeaten 67 against the Sylhet Super Stars.
