Sir Curtly Ambrose’s pace made him one of the most dangerous bowlers of his time. His extremely tall stature of 6 ft 8 inches made the ball bounce unusually high right after he delivered it. He is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest bowlers of all the time who plied his trade for the West Indies in 98 Test matches.

He was honoured in the ICC Hall of Fame after his retirement and was picked as one of the all-time XI from the West Indies. He is yet another fearsome bowler against whom Kohli might have struggled given, Curtly’s splendid pace combined with accuracy. He played his Test and ODI in 2000 as his game got continuously hindered by injuries.

Sir Ambrose was known for his ability to get successful in front of the leading batters of those times, and Kohli stands exactly in the same capacity as of current times. The enthralling contest between the two iconic players could have been a great delight for the cricketing fans.
