Probably the greatest leg spinner of all time, Shane Warne, used to be a nightmare for batsmen during his era. He was Wisden’s Leading Cricketer in the world in 1997. Words will fall short to talks about the achievements and records the legendary spinner carries in his bag.

The second-highest wicket-taker in Test format with 708 scalps in his account, he remained adamant enough to devastate the batting line up of opponents. As it has been seen that Kohli struggles in front of the leg spinners, in particular, Warne could have been a potent threat for him.

Kohli has even struggled against another Australian leggie Adam Zampa in recent times. The parallels can be drawn and it can be inferred that the Indian skipper would have measured the tough days of his life had he faced Shane Warne. The legend was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2013.
