Doesn’t precisely fit in the boots of Rishabh Pant as a keeper-batsman, but Shivam Dube’s exceptional talent could come in handy for the Indian side in the coming years. The fast bowling all-rounder plays a pretty aggressive brand of cricket, be it with the bat or the ball.

He was picked up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last season’s auction, but he failed to make his mark. His performances for the Mumbai domestic side have been exceptional in recent years and is coming on the back of a pretty decent Vijay Hazare campaign.

With the likes of Hardik Pandya already available in that category of cricketers, it won’t be easy for Shivam to make it into the squad. But he could be the first-choice replacement for the Baroda all-rounder in unfortunate circumstances. The only factor against him is his age, as he is 26 already.
