1. T Natarajan
The left-arm seamer had to stay away from cricket owing to injuries. In the historic Gabba Test, he became the 300th Indian player to don the Test cap as he was handed a debut in the fourth and final Test against Australia. He came to the limelight after his impressive performances in IPL 2020.
He got some good help from the conditions in Australia wherein he received considerable swing which helped him display his flair. He picked up three wickets in the match and also restricted the flow of runs. But then the knee injury which he had sustained during the tour didn’t allow him to participate in the first half of the IPL.
Natarajan’s recovery was also one of the major reasons that he wasn’t included in the T20 World Cup 2021 squad. He had also missed the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) due to the same reasons.
