The name of Mitchell Starc comes under the same instance as that of Pollard. The incident happened during the 17th over of the Mumbai Indians’ innings. After beating Pollard, he went up to the batter and spoke a few words with him. As Starc ran in to bowl the next ball, Pollard pulled off and this provoked Starc.

As a result of which he threw the ball towards Pollard. And, Pollard responded by swinging his bat hard and it slipped out of his hand. This was an ugly incident that remains fresh in the minds of the IPL fans. Adding on, both the captains, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, were fined for slow over-rate offenses during the game.

For international stars to behave in this manner was never good in respect to the spirit of the game. And, when the news came out the next day, the leading newspapers of the country read that it was conduct contrary to the spirit of the game. This ugly spat is one of the most unforgettable moments in the history of the tournament. And an incident like this enables Starc to make it to this list even after playing in only two seasons.
